History Edit

In 1998, Nedim Tezkosar, Nicolaas Deiker, and Mark Kammerbauer began producing electro/breakbeat/techno music together. Tezkosar (aka DJ Nedim) and Kammerbauer had already know each other from the southern German independent/hardcore/underground music scene since the early 1990s and had reconnected at the Border Festival in Trier. By then, Tezkosar was a renowned techno/ambient DJ and Kammerbauer had begun activity as fragment king. This led to collaboration with Deiker (aka Electroking), a Stuttgart friend of Tezkosar's. Both as duos and as trio, they produced a large number of tracks - Deiker/Tezkosar as RiffRaff, Deiker/Tezkosar/Kammerbauer as Uncreated, Deiker/Kammerbauer as Electroyal, and Tezkosar/Kammerbauer as Instantbul. Tracks by N.Deiker, Instantbul, and Uncreated appear on releases of the Nexialist Halforganic Series. Beyond that, fragment king's initial release was on the vinyl compilation "Cities and Seasons" together with RiffRaff and N.Deiker on his own Deiker Records label imprint. Deiker and Kammerbauer (as fragment king) also played back-to-back at the "Nexialist Exposition" in the USA and Germany in 2002 and together as Electroyal in Leipzig in 2004.
